Optiver is offering a FPGA Developer Intern position in Australia. You will work with seasoned FPGA engineers to build fast, latency-optimised trading systems and gain exposure to advanced hardware design in a world-class training program.

Over 10 weeks you’ll design high-performance systems, develop test benches with VHDL/Verilog, and learn through workshops, mentoring, and trader training. High-achievers may receive a Graduate FPGA Developer offer after summer.

Qualifikationen

• Penultimate year student in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and Python/C++.
• Understanding of Ethernet/IP/TCP and low-latency concepts.

Aufgaben

• Develop latency-critical applications under guidance of senior FPGA engineers.
• Work with mentors to accelerate design and testing cycles.
• Contribute to real-time trading systems and hardware projects.
