Job summary

Journey Early Learning Parap is seeking a passionate Permanent Educator to join our brand-new 98-place centre. You’ll help shape the culture, learning environments and community from day one, building strong relationships with children and families.

You’ll bring a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, be available five days, and collaborate with your new team to create engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYLF and safe, inclusive routines.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Prior Experience in ECE.
• Availability across five days, Monday to Friday.
• Flexibility across shift times, including opening and closing shifts.
• A genuine passion for children’s learning and development.
• A positive, team-focused approach.
• Current Working with Children Clearance.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain).
• Completed National Child Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families from day one.
• Work collaboratively with your new team to establish routines and learning environments.
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Contribute to observations, planning and Storypark documentation.
• Help build a positive, inclusive and connected team culture.
• Maintain high standards of safety, care and safeguarding.
