Job summary

AnglicareCQ in Rockhampton is seeking a Foster Care Intake Officer to help place children in safe, nurturing homes. This full-time fixed-term role involves on-call rostered shifts and working with carers, Child Safety, and community agencies.

You will build strong relationships, oversee placement records, and support carers to meet therapeutic needs while aiming for positive outcomes for vulnerable children across Central Queensland.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) or Mental Health.
• Significant experience in a similar field.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support carers to meet therapeutic needs with individualized support.
• Maintain placement registers with licensing and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with Child Safety and community agencies to build strong partnerships.
