Job summary

Statewide Concrete Products operates a precast concrete production facility in Hastings, VIC, and is expanding its team with three positions.

The roles include building and modifying concrete moulds and formwork, reading drawings, taking measurements, cutting and assembling timber formwork, steel fixing and assembling reinforcement cages, preparing moulds for pours, batching concrete, pouring, vibrating and finishing concrete, stripping moulds and operating factory equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in formwork carpentry, carpentry, steel fixing, concrete batching, finishing, precast concrete, or labouring.
• Practical skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Multi-skilled applicants will be highly regarded.

FORMWORK CARPENTERS & CONCRETE WORKERS – MULTIPLE POSITIONS

Statewide Concrete Products – Hastings VIC

Statewide Concrete Products is growing and we're looking for three people to join our precast concrete production team at our Hastings manufacturing facility. Depending on your experience, your role could include building and modifying concrete moulds and formwork, reading drawings and taking measurements, cutting and assembling timber formwork, steel fixing and assembling reinforcement cages, preparing moulds for concrete pours, concrete batching, pouring, vibrating and finishing concrete, stripping moulds, general precast concrete production, operating factory equipment, assisting with loading and moving finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Key responsibilities

Building and modifying concrete moulds and formwork

Reading drawings and taking measurements

About you

Experience in one or more of the following areas: formwork carpentry, carpentry, steel fixing, concrete batching, concrete finishing, precast concrete, general concrete construction, or labouring

Permanent full-time positions

Monday to Friday work

Standard hours approximately 7:00am–3:30pm
