Job summary

Stafflink Workforce Management is seeking a hands-on Carpenter/Formworker for a busy precast concrete yard in Yatala, QLD. The role offers ongoing full-time hours with a potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

You will assist trades and production teams with pours, formwork and yard duties, and you must have reliable transport as the site isn’t accessible by public transport. 6am start, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast, concreting or construction environments is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour tasks.

We’re currently seeking a hands-on and reliable Carpenter/Formworker to join our client’s busy concrete precast yard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position for the right worker.

About the Role

You’ll be assisting trades and production teams in the daily operations of a precast concrete yard. Duties include:

Assisting with concrete pours, formwork, and general yard duties

Supporting trades with steel fixing, formwork, and concreting tasks

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-based environment

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a precast, concreting, or construction environment (highly regarded)

Background in concreting, steel fixing work is an advantage

Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks

Own reliable transport - site not accessible by public transport

Commitment to safety and ability to follow instructions and procedures

Must have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (no visa restrictions)

Available to work Monday to Friday, starting at 6am
