Job summary

Tecside Group in Melton is seeking production operators for day and afternoon shifts in a busy precast production environment. This hands-on role offers guaranteed ordinary hours, 50 hours per week, and overtime opportunities with early starts (5am-3pm, 6am-4pm or 2:00pm-midnight).

You will operate concrete processing tasks, lift and move products using an LF forklift, and support finishing and loading. A current LF forklift licence is essential; reliability, fitness for manual work, and ability

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence - essential.
• Experience in concrete, precast, construction, manufacturing or a similar environment is highly regarded.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Strong safety attitude and understanding of OH&S.
• Reliable transport to and from Melton.
• Flexible with early morning start times.
• Willing to undergo a drug and alcohol test if required.

Responsibilities

• Pouring, screeding, patching and moulding concrete.
• Washing, polishing and repairing concrete pipes.
• Finishing and preparing concrete products.
• Loading and unloading products using an LF forklift.
• Picking and handling rubber rings, caps and other components.
• General production and manual handling duties.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.

Production Operators- Day & Afternoon shifts

Looking for steady work, good pay and plenty of hours? We’re looking for reliable Production & Forklift Operators to join our busy precast manufacturing team in Melton. 5am-3pm/ 6am-4pm or 2:00pm-middnight. This is a hands-on role with consistent hours, guaranteed ordinary-time hours and opportunities to learn new skills. If you’re someone who likes to keep busy, enjoys practical work and takes pride in doing a job well, this could be the role for you.

The Role: You’ll be part of our precast or production teams, helping manufacture, finish, repair and handle concrete products.

Your day-to-day work may include:

Forklift operation is only a small part of the role. This is primarily a hands-on production position, so you need to be comfortable getting involved with the physical side of the work.
