Job summary

All Constructions in Brisbane is seeking experienced Construction Labourers, Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join on a casual basis. The role is hands-on and based in Brisbane QLD 4000, supporting projects from start to finish.

You will work across site preparation, formwork, concrete pouring and finishing, with safe operations, PPE and WHS compliance. A current White Card is preferred and a valid driver's licence is beneficial.

All Constructions is seeking experienced and reliable Construction Labourers, Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on position based in Brisbane QLD 4000, where you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects from start to finish. Whether you specialise in formwork carpentry, concrete work, or general labouring, your contribution will be essential to delivering high-quality construction outcomes on time and within budget. This casual role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic construction environment.

Key responsibilities

Assisting with site preparation, including clearing, levelling and organising work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations

Supporting formwork carpenters by cutting, shaping and assembling timber or steel formwork systems for concrete pouring

Mixing, placing and finishing concrete in accordance with project specifications and safety standards

Operating and maintaining hand tools and power tools safely and responsibly

Transporting and handling construction materials, including timber, concrete, steel and other components

Assisting with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary structures when required

Following all site safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to Health and Safety regulations

Cleaning and maintaining work areas to keep the site organised and hazard-free

Responding to direction from supervisors and contributing to a collaborative team environment

Assisting with formwork stripping, cleaning and preparing for reuse on subsequent pours

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a construction labourer, formwork carpenter or concreter on residential, commercial or industrial projects

A solid understanding of construction site safety practices and the ability to work in compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation

Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour, lift heavy items and work at heights where required

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and formwork

Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring and finishing techniques (advantageous for concreters)

Formwork carpentry experience, including timber and steel formwork systems (preferred for those specialising in this area)

A current White Card (Construction Safety Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one

Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work with a strong commitment to safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team under supervision

Valid driver's licence (beneficial for site mobility)

Any relevant certifications or tickets (such as working at heights, confined spaces, or forklift operation) are advantageous
