Job summary

Carrabay Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a permanent full-time Formwork Carpenter with civil construction experience. You will read working plans, cut, prepare, and install wooden and steel structures, and help ensure daily project milestones are met.

The role requires a solid understanding of WHS regulations, the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and teamwork with crew members on large high-rise and civil projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in formwork or carpentry.
• Carpentry trade qualification preferred but not essential.
• Good understanding of WHS obligations in building industry.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret working plans to determine materials and installation procedures.
• Cut, prepare, assemble and install wood and steel structures.
• Repair existing fittings or structures and join prefabricated units.
• Construct wooden forms for pouring concrete or erecting scaffolding; assist large projects and ensure milestones are met.

About the role

We require a permanent full-time Formwork Carpenter to join our growing team, who has experience across civil construction projects.

As a Formwork Carpenter you will plays pivotal role within the company to ensure the daily project milestones are always met.
