Job summary

SLH Group on the Central Coast is seeking Forklift Operators for day or afternoon shifts. Overtime on weekend available but not compulsory; two shift patterns: days 6am-3pm and afternoons 3pm-12am.

You will operate forklifts, handle hand and power tools, contribute to concrete patching and mold preparation, and support yard activities to meet daily production targets. A valid LF forklift licence and physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug and alcohol test and basic physical
• Experience in a manufacturing, precast concrete, or construction environment (preferred)
• Ability to safely handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong WHS awareness and safe work practices
• Ability to work in a team and follow supervisor instructions
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new processes or machinery
• Valid forklift license (LF) – experience operating forklifts with tynes, clamps or slippers

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts using tynes, clamps and turntables.
• Perform concrete patching and repairs.
• Prepare molds and forms, including cleaning, assembling, oiling, and setting reinforcement cages or steel mesh.
• Support yard activities such as stacking, labeling and general hour keeping.
• Meet daily production targets.

Dayshift: 6am to 3pm
Afternoon Shift: 3pm to 12am

What you need to succeed:

• Able to pass and drug and alcohol test and basic physical
• Experience in a manufacturing, precast concrete, or construction environment (preferred but not always essential)
• Ability to safely handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow supervisor instructions effectively
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new processes or machinery.
• Valid forklift license (LF) – experience operating forklifts with tynes, slippers, or clamps.
