Job summary

Manpower Australia is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Production Worker for an ongoing full-time role in a busy manufacturing environment in Maitland. Training will transition from day to afternoon shift with overtime available and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

You will operate a forklift, assist with production, and help maintain a clean and safe workspace while supporting daily targets and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence is required.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable with a solid work ethic and safety focus.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products safely.
• Load, unload and stage materials for production.
• Assist with manufacturing and production processes.
• Open moulds and remove finished products.
• Prepare equipment and materials for upcoming production runs.
• Complete quality checks and finishing tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve daily production targets.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Looking for ongoing work, consistent hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position? We're currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role offering stable employment, regular overtime, and a genuine temp‑to‑perm opportunity for the right candidate. Training will be completed on day shift for the first few weeks before transitioning to a permanent afternoon shift roster. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of forklift operation and physical production work, takes safety seriously, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

Essential

Desirable

• Experience within manufacturing, production, construction, concrete, warehousing or labouring environments
• Experience handling large or heavy products
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
