Pacific National in Townsville is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely load and unload containerised rail freight. You will report to the Supervisor and join a high‑performing, supportive team.

No rail experience required as full training is provided. Essential LF forklift licence and a current driver's licence help you hit the ground running, with a safety‑minded, team‑oriented approach.

• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Team-focused approach with a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills.

What You’ll Do

Load and unload containerised rail freight safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:

• Operate forklifts to load/unload rail wagons and trucks
• Ensure all freight handling is completed safely and efficiently
• Work within a 24/7 rotating shift environment
• Support safe operations and maintain equipment standards
• Work as part of a team to meet operational targets
