Job summary

Domestic Freight Express is seeking experienced Linehaul Forklift Operators to join our Larapinta depot on the PM shift. You will safely load and unload interstate linehaul trailers, consolidating palletised freight and ensuring proper weight distribution.

We offer full-time permanent employment with long-term security, modern equipment and a supportive, family-owned culture. Applicants should have at least 2 years linehaul loading experience and a current LF forklift licence, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in linehaul loading operations.
• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience loading semi-trailers and B-Doubles.
• Sound understanding of Mass Management, weight distribution and load restraint requirements.
• Experience handling and consolidating mixed palletised freight.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload interstate linehaul trailers.
• Consolidate palletised freight to maximise trailer utilisation.
• Ensure correct weight distribution, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility compliance.
• Accurately scan, sort and allocate freight to the correct destinations.
• Minimise freight damage, loading errors and misdirected consignments.
• Work efficiently to meet scheduled linehaul departure times.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.

We are currently seeking experienced Linehaul Forklift Operators to join our Larapinta depot.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in linehaul loading operations.
• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience loading semi-trailers and B-Doubles.
• Sound understanding of Mass Management, weight distribution and load restraint requirements.
• Experience handling and consolidating mixed palletised freight.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities
