Job summary

DP World is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators with Twin-Tyne experience to join our Contract Logistics team at Fisherman’s Island, Brisbane. You will safely operate forklifts, move and store bulk palletised freight, load/unload freight and use RF scanning equipment.

Permanent full-time and casual opportunities are available on the day shift, Monday to Friday starting from 5:45am, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Forklift Licence with Twin-Tyne experience.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience using RF scanning equipment is desirable.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts including Twin-Tyne attachments to move and position freight.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.

Job Purpose
