Matrix Steel is seeking an experienced Forklift Loader / Machine Operator to join our Bundaberg operations. This afternoon shift runs from 2pm to 10pm, with duties including loading/unloading trucks and operating metal forming equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience operating a forklift loader.
• Desirable experience with sheet metal manufacturing equipment.
• Proactive, safety-conscious and a team player.
• Ability to interpret product requirements and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Load & unload trucks using a forklift and manual handling.
• Locate finished goods and load to vehicles.
• Manufacture and assemble goods to customer specs.
• Operate metal forming equipment as required.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean workspace.
• Participate in training for plant equipment.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a motivated and experienced Forklift Loader / Machine Operator with a strong work ethic to join our BundabergOperations team. This is an afternoon shift position, working 2pm - 10pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading & unloading trucks with forklift and manual handling
• Locate finished goods and load to the vehicle
• Manufacturing and assembling of goods to customer requirements
• Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines
• Interpret product drawings
• General housekeeping activities
• Participate in relevant training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
