Matrix Steel in Bundaberg is seeking a motivated Forklift Loader / Machine Operator for the afternoon shift (2pm–10pm). You will load and unload trucks, locate finished goods, and support manufacturing to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load & unload trucks using a forklift and assist with manual handling.
• Locate finished goods and load them to the vehicle.
• Assist in manufacturing and assembling goods to customer requirements.
• Operate metal folding, roll form and pressing machines as needed.
• Interpret product drawings and follow specifications.
• Maintain general housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Participate in training for plant and equipment use.
• Adhere to safety rules to maintain a safe working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading & unloading trucks with forklift and manual handling
• Locate finished goods and load to the vehicle
• Manufacturing and assembling of goods to customer requirements
• Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines
• Interpret product drawings
• General housekeeping activities
• Participate in relevant training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
