Job summary

Australia Post in Newcastle is seeking a Forklift Driver to keep operations running smoothly at the Newcastle Parcel Delivery Centre. You will move freight, sort parcels and help prepare loads so deliveries depart on time, with safety at the forefront of every shift.

This is a fixed-term full-time role with varied hours, including overnight shifts. We support wellbeing, teamwork, and career growth within a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence and work safely at all times.
• Comfortable in a hands-on operations environment, moving parcels and freight daily.

• Motivated to learn, grow and build a longer term career in operations and logistics.

About the opportunity

As a Forklift Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Based at one of our facilities, you’ll work closely with processing and delivery teams to safely move freight, sort parcels and prepare loads so deliveries can head out on time.

This is a varied, hands-on role where safety comes first; teamwork matters, and every shift contributes to reliable outcomes for customers and communities.
