Job summary

Star Track Express PL in Victoria is seeking a Freight Handler to join a diverse warehouse team. With e-commerce growth, your role ensures consignments are loaded correctly and deliveries go out promptly.

Available shifts include 14:30-22:30, 15:00-20:00, 15:00-22:30, and 15:00-23:00; you’ll handload parcels, unload trucks, wrap freight, and scan parcels while updating records. You must be physically capable of lifting 30 kg repeatedly, be a team player, and hold Australian citizenship or

• Forklift licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

About the opportunity

We’re looking for a Freight Handler to join our diverse and hard-working team. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.

Available Shifts: We offer a variety of afternoon and evening shifts to suit different schedules, including 14:30-22:30, 15:00-20:00, 15:00-22:30, and 15:00-23:00.

You’ll be

• Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service.
• Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road.
• Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse.
• Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know - like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.

About you

• You’re fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly – we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you’re safe on the job.
• You’re laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive
• You’re a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected.
• You’re also an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• If you’ve got a forklift licence that’s a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse.
