Job summary

CK Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for a family-owned steel operation in Sydney. The role is physical and fast-paced, requiring a minimum of 3 years forklift experience in industrial environments and a valid LF licence.

Shift options include Day (6:00am–2:30pm) and Afternoon (2:30pm–10:30pm) with overtime available. Applicants must have Australian work rights and be able to handle unloading, stock put-aways, and paperwork inspections.

Job description

Our client is a family owned and operated company that has been within the steel industry for over 40 years. They are currently looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join their growing team.

This is a physical, fast paced position, only experienced operators should apply.

Minimum 3 year's experience operating forklifts in industrial environments is required.

Day Shift - Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm OVERTIME !

Afternoon Shift - Monday - Friday 2.30pm - 10.30pm OVERTIME !

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with unloading of customer vehicles including B- Doubles and Semi Trailers

Inspect all incoming work

Checking of customers paperwork

Weighing of product

Allocating job orders/numbers

Organising stock put aways

Skills & Experience

LF forklift licence is required for this position

Experience working within the steel industry (preferred but not essential)

Experience in Receiving

Experience with Bulky Products

Strong work ethic

Australian work rights are required for this position
