Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking experienced Forklift Operators/Manual Handlers to join a busy Brisbane manufacturing facility. You will load, unload, move stock and support production in a fast-paced environment.

We offer day, afternoon and night shifts with ongoing full-time hours and potential permanent positions. Training on gantry cranes and site equipment is provided, with a strong safety culture and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, warehouse or steel environments.
• Experience handling long-length, oversize, or awkward loads.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal, and finished products.
• Load and unload trucks with oversized steel products.
• Support production lines by feeding and removing materials.
• Complete load restraint and strapping duties.
• Load steel coils onto manufacturing equipment.
• Operate gantry cranes (training provided).
• Work with dispatch and production teams to meet daily targets.
• Maintain safe work practices and a clean work environment.

The Role Due to ongoing growth, we're seeking experienced Forklift Operators / Manual Handlers to join a busy Brisbane manufacturing facility.

Working primarily with steel roofing, walling products and sheet metal materials, you'll play a key role in loading, unloading, moving stock, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal, and finished products
• Loading and unloading trucks with oversized steel products
• Supporting production lines by feeding and removing materials
• Completing load restraint and strapping duties
• Loading steel coils onto manufacturing equipment
• Operating gantry cranes (training provided)
• Working closely with dispatch and production teams to meet daily targets
• Maintaining safe work practices and a clean work environment

What We're Looking For

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, warehouse, yard, or steel environments
• Experience handling long-length, oversized, or awkward loads
• Knowledge of load restraint and safe loading practices
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on duties
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to morning shift work
• Gantry crane experience highly regarded but not essential
