Job summary

CK Recruitment is seeking a Night Shift Storeman with a Forklift Licence for a busy steel processing site in Smithfield. You will operate the forklift, assist with general stores duties and work alongside the production area on the night shift (training on day shift for 2 weeks).

The role is casual with a night shift rate of 63.18 AUD per hour, with overtime as needed; it moves to permanent employment after probation.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence with Counterbalance Experience - 3 years min
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Have worked in a similar role within the Metal / Manufacturing Industry
• Overhead Crane experience
• Own transport due to location

Night Shift Storeman with Forklift Licence

Experienced Storeperson with Forklift Licence required for busy Steel Processing company based in Smithfield.

There is currently an opening on Night Shift although training will be on day shift (2 weeks)

Night Shift $63.18 (Casual rate, please note this rate drops once a permanent position is obtained (3 months))

Afternoon shift hours are 9:50pm - 6am.

This role is varied and it will require you to work alongside the Production area of steel products operating the Forklift and performing General Stores duties.

The successful candidate will have;

• Current LF Forklift Licence with Counterbalance Experience - 3 years min
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Have worked in a similar role within the Metal / Manufacturing Industry
• Overhead Crane experience
• Own transport due to location

This is a temp to perm role and you will be required to work overtime at times. Would suit a team player with a great work ethic and stable work history.
