Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Townsville QLD is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for ongoing full-time work in our Townsville operation. This hands-on role involves moving steel coils, sheet metal and finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will hold a current LF Forklift Licence and have experience in manufacturing, warehouse or steel settings, with a strong safety focus and reliability to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal and finished products throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks with steel roofing, walling and other oversized materials
• Safely load steel coils onto mills and production equipment
• Complete load restraint and strapping duties for transport
• Work closely with production and dispatch teams to meet daily targets
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

The Opportunity Due to continued growth, our client is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their Townsville operation. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, working with sheet metal and steel building products used across commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal and finished products throughout the facility
