Job summary

Knauf Australia in Horsley Park is seeking a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver to manage daily distribution store operations.

You will handle face-to-face and phone inquiries, pick/pack orders, load/unload vehicles, and maintain equipment while ensuring accuracy and safety standards. A forklift licence and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution & logistics is highly desirable.
• Valid forklift licence required.
• Located in or near Horsley Park.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Valid police check.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with daily manual handling.
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone.
• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis.
• Regularly check & make up orders.
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence.
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles.
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management.
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service.
• Assist with stock take / inventory counts to ensure accurate records.
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping.

About The Role

As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Horsley Park trade store.

Some Tasks As Part Of This Role Include

• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis

• Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping
