Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Distribution Forklift Operator for a busy manufacturing and distribution site in Burnett Heads. The role involves hands-on forklift duties, moving large building products, and supporting loading operations in both indoor and outdoor areas.

The ideal candidate will hold a current LF Forklift Licence, have proven loading/unloading experience, and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience safely loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Proven commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 4 tyne forklifts within the facility.
• Load and unload semi trailers, B doubles and delivery vehicles.
• Move and store large building products 2.4m–6m in length.
• Handle bulk bags, IBC containers, pallets and other production materials.
• Complete loading and unloading activities in both indoor and outdoor areas.
• Follow all site safety procedures and operational requirements.
• Support warehouse and distribution activities as required.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety focused Distribution Forklift Operator to join a leading manufacturing and distribution site in Burnett Heads. This is a hands on role working within a fast paced environment supporting warehouse, distribution and loading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate 4 tyne forklifts within the manufacturing and distribution facility
• Load and unload semi trailers, B doubles and delivery vehicles
• Move and store large building products ranging from 2.4m to 6m in length
• Handle bulk bags, IBC containers, pallets and other production materials
• Complete loading and unloading activities in both covered and outdoor work areas
• Follow all site safety procedures and operational requirements
• Support warehouse and distribution activities as required

What We Are Looking For

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and team focused attitude
• Confidence working in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
