Job summary

Chandler Macleod in Adelaide's northern suburbs is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to support warehouse and dispatch operations. You will load/unload, move stock, and operate production equipment while maintaining quality and safety. The role requires a current LF Forklift Licence, proven forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Australian working rights and own transport are preferred. Overtime, weekend work and various shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential).
• Previous forklift experience.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of WHS and food safety standards.
• Ability to follow SOPs, policies and procedures.
• Able to lift 20–25 kg and perform repetitive tasks.
• Own vehicle and current driver’s licence.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using a forklift.
• Transporting stock and packaging materials around the facility.
• Operating and monitoring food production and packaging equipment.
• Assisting with machine setup and changeovers as required.
• Packing, labeling, palletising and dispatch preparation.
• Conducting quality checks and documentation.

Forklift Driver Operator

About the Role

Do you have a strong commitment to safety and proven forklift operating experience? We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Adelaide's northern suburbs, supporting the efficient handling and movement of goods across the site.

We are seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to support our warehouse and logistics operations.

This role is dedicated to forklift operation and material handling, supporting the efficient movement of goods across warehouse and dispatch functions.

Working as part of a high-performing team, you will help maintain product quality, meet production targets, and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Rate: Ordinary hours $32 - $35 per hour + overtime. Afternoon/Night Rates

Your Duties May Include

• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using a forklift.
• Transporting stock, packaging materials, and ingredients throughout the facility.
• Operating, monitoring, and assisting with food production and packaging equipment.
• Assisting with machine setup, operation, and changeovers as required.
• Packing, labelling, palletising, and preparing products for dispatch.
• Ensuring products meet all quality control and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting product inspections and quality checks.
• Completing production documentation and records accurately.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment, and machinery.
• Adhering to all Workplace Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential).
• Previous forklift experience.
• Previous experience within the Food Manufacturing industry highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of workplace health, safety practices and food safety standards.
• Ability to strictly follow regulations, SOPs, policies, and procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 20-25kg when required.
• Own vehicle and current driver's licence.
• Valid working rights within Australia.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, overtime, weekends, and various shift patterns as required.
