Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 Kingaroy is seeking a reliable Yard Person / Forklift Operator to join our team. This hands-on role covers the yard, warehouse, order picking, and loading customer vehicles at the Kingaroy Store.

No prior timber or building product experience is required; we provide training on our products, systems, and processes. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team with opportunities for development and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Current LF forklift licence.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.

• Physically fit and able to safely handle products.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Person / Forklift Operator to join our team at the Kingaroy Store.

This is a hands‑on role working in the yard and warehouse, picking, and preparing orders, unloading and storing building products and loading customer and delivery vehicles.

You don't need to have experience in the building or hardware industry. We will provide training on our products, systems, and processes. We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is willing to learn and work as part of a team.

• Safe operation of forklifts
• Keeping the yard and storage areas organised
• Assisting with general yard duties
• Working safely and following company procedures

Essential requirements

• Current LF forklift licence

Previous experience with timber or building products is not required. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
