Job summary

Synergy People is seeking a Yard Hand with a current forklift licence to support operations at a large wholesale supplier of metal roofing and building products.

The role is based in Penrith NSW with a 2pm to 10pm shift, focusing on forklift operation, order processing, packing, and general warehouse duties in a busy yard environment.

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence (LF) is required.
• Previous warehousing, general stores, manufacturing or similar experience is desirable.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Driver licence and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Pick, pack and prepare goods for delivery.
• Maintain high standards of store organisation and workplace cleanliness.
• Assist with loading orders onto trucks and for customer deliveries.
• Unpack goods and replenish stock on shelves.
• Perform general warehouse tasks.

Our client, a major supplier of roofing and building materials, is seeking a Yard Hand with a current forklift licence to support their operations in Mona Vale. This is a Monday to Friday role offering a mix of indoor and outdoor work, and a great opportunity to join a well-established business. You'll be responsible for forklift operation, general yard duties, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing both incoming and outgoing orders
• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for delivery
• Maintaining high standards of store organization and workplace cleanliness
• Assisting with the loading of orders onto trucks and for customer deliveries
• Unpacking goods and replenishing stock on shelves
• Performing general warehouse tasks
• Current forklift licence (LF)
• Previous experiencein warehousing, general stores, manufacturing or similar
• Physically fit and ability to perform manual handling 15-20kg regularly
• Previous experience in the sheet metal or building materials sector is highly desirable
• Driver licence and reliable transportation
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
