Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in bushfire response or forest operations is desirable.
• Experience and understanding in natural resource management, preferably with forest management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate workgroups to oversee operational tasks and fire prevention activities in Victoria's state forests, national parks and public land.
• Ensure ongoing effectiveness of workcentres and drive environmental preservation and public safety goals.
• Be prepared for deployment across the state, including challenging terrains, contributing to emergency response and planned burning operations.
