Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Forensic Intern Clinician to deliver specialist clinical services across Victoria under supervision. You will conduct screenings, assessments, and group-based interventions for individuals with offences linked to sexual, violent, or substance-misuse related behaviours.

Qualifications

• Provisional Psychologist registration with AHPRA or eligibility for professional body.
• Knowledge of CBT and offender rehabilitation frameworks.
• Ability to engage in reflective practice and supervision.
• Eligibility via PACFA, ACA, AASW or related professional body.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings and assessments state-wide under supervision.
• Deliver group-based offence-specific interventions.
• Produce clinical notes, risk assessments and treatment plans.
• Participate in extensive supervision and travel to prison locations.
