Job summary

Corrections Victoria is seeking experienced forensic clinicians to join the Lara team in Barwon South West. You will deliver evidence-based forensic intervention in a multidisciplinary correctional setting, conducting risk assessments and developing rehabilitation pathways.

Applicants may include psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses, OTs, counsellors or psychotherapists. Forensic clinical experience is welcome but not essential; relocation support is available for eligible

Qualifications

• Eligibility for one of the listed registrations or master’s in psychotherapy and PACFA.
• Experience in forensic settings is desirable.
• Strong assessment and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based forensic interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct comprehensive risk and clinical assessments.
• Develop person-centred rehabilitation pathways from interviews and reports.
• Lead individual and group treatment programs and sessions.
• Prepare treatment plans and risk assessment reports for stakeholders.
