Job summary

Corrections Victoria’s Forensic Intervention Services seeks a Forensic Clinician to provide evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention for individuals with cognitive impairment in custody and community settings across Victoria.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying risk-needs-responsivity models to deliver individual and group interventions, and to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering evidence-based forensic interventions with cognitive impairment.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and with correctional populations.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and rehabilitation planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk evaluations.
• Carry out clinical interviews to develop rehabilitation pathways.
• Deliver individual and group treatment programs using evidence-based tools.
• Prepare treatment and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel to correctional facilities as part of the role.
