Downer Energy & Utilities in Beenleigh seeks an experienced Foreman to lead crews on major water and wastewater projects in the Logan region. You’ll organise crews, coordinate subcontractors and ensure daily plan execution on site.

As the lead onsite, you’ll handle safety, quality, scheduling and stakeholder communications, with a view to delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining community responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in leading hands or foreman roles on construction sites.
• Experience managing crews and subcontractors in a site environment.
• Strong knowledge of site safety, environmental requirements and quality control.
• Confident coordinating works, resources and construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day activities of crews and subcontractors onsite.
• Coordinate labour, materials and resources to keep works moving.
• Keep an eye on programme, quality and productivity across your work fronts.
• Set the standard for safe work and manage risks effectively.
• Work with Supervisors, project teams and stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain site standards across safety, environment and community impacts.
• Build a crew culture where clarity and pride in the job are evident.

The opportunity

Know how to run a good crew and keep a job moving?

We're looking for an experienced Foreman to join the Logan Water team, delivering major water and wastewater projects across the region.

Based in Beenleigh, you'll be right where the work happens, organising crews, coordinating subcontractors and making sure the day runs as it should. When plans change or something unexpected comes up, you'll be the person bringing everyone together and finding the way forward.

There's plenty of work ahead, a strong team around you and the stability of a long-term partnership delivering infrastructure the Logan community relies on every day.

If you've built your experience on the tools or as a Leading Hand and you're ready to take more ownership onsite, this could be a great next move.

What you'll do

• Run the day-to-day activities of crews and subcontractors onsite

What we're looking for

• Frontline Management qualification or equivalent
