Respect Group is recruiting a casual Food Services Assistant in Victoria. You will work with our Chef/Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, ensuring food safety standards are met and dining areas remain clean and welcoming.

The role requires flexibility to work across a rotating roster and collaboration within a supportive team. You will help plan menus reflecting residents’ needs and preferences, prepare and present meals, maintain hygiene, monitor temperatures, and report

Formación

• Completion of a Food Handling Course.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in residential aged care feed services.

Responsabilidades

• Support menu planning to reflect residents’ needs, preferences and dietary requirements.
• Prepare, serve and present meals and refreshments in line with the Food Safety Program.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, including cleaning and safe food handling practices.
• Monitor and record food safety requirements, including temperatures and goods received.
• Deliver meals with a friendly, respectful approach and report any food or beverage concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge.

About the Role

As a Food Services Assistant, you’ll work alongside our Chef or Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, while maintaining high food safety standards and ensuring the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, organised and welcoming.

This is a casual position and the successful candidate must be flexible to work across a rotating roster.
