Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking staff for a brand-new VIC dining role delivering high-quality meals and a welcoming dining experience for residents.

You will assist with meal prep, serve meals respecting dietary needs, maintain dining areas, and engage with residents during mealtimes. Australian Working Rights and a Food Handler’s Certificate are expected or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating.
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes.

$29.98 p/h + Super + Shift Penalties (where applicable)
Work in our brand-new Aged Care Residence expected to open in December 2026

About the Role
