Job summary

Carrington Aged Care is hiring a Hotel Services Assistant to support meal preparation, presentation and serving for residents across our facilities. You will help ensure meals meet nutritional and dietary needs while delivering friendly, respectful service in a warm, home-like environment.

We offer rosters from 35 to 76 hours per fortnight, with early and late shifts between 6:00am and 7:30pm. Full and Part Time opportunities are available, and a not-for-profit employer supports work-life

Qualifications

• Driver's license and reliable transport.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment assessment and obtain an NDIS Worker check clearance.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work.
• Some exposure to food and beverage experience desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals with presentation in mind.
• Cater to residents' nutritional and dietary needs.
• Provide service across four Residential Care Facilities and Assisted Living facility.
• Roster opportunities range from 35 to 76 hours per fortnight with shifts from 6:00am to 7:30pm.

The Opportunity

As a Hotel Services Assistant, you will provide quality services across our four Residential Care Facilities and Assisted Living facility. Your preparation for meal services, presentation, plating and serving of meals ensure our resident have an enjoyable eating experience, while catering to their nutritional and dietary needs. We currently have Full & Part Time opportunities available, with rosters of 35-76 hours per fortnight, with shifts starting no earlier than 6:00am and finishing by 7:30pm and varying patterns across the week.
