Job summary

Carrington is seeking a Hotel Services Assistant to deliver quality meal services across four Residential Care Facilities and an Assisted Living site. You will prepare, present and serve meals, catering to nutritional needs, with rosters up to 76 hours per fortnight and shifts starting from 6:00am.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and customer service desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised when required.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early/late and weekends.
• Right to work in Australia and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve meals across four Residential Care Facilities and an Assisted Living facility.
• Ensure nutritional and dietary needs of residents are met.
• Assist with presentation, plating and serving to provide an enjoyable dining experience.

The Opportunity

As a Hotel Services Assistant, you will provide quality services across our four Residential Care Facilities and Assisted Living facility. Your preparation for meal services, presentation, plating and serving of meals ensure our resident have an enjoyable eating experience, while catering to their nutritional and dietary needs. We currently have Full & Part Time opportunities available, with rosters of 35-76 hours per fortnight, with shifts starting no earlier than 6:00am and finishing by 7:30pm and varying patterns across the week.

About You

• Driver's license and reliable transport
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
• Some exposure to food and beverage experience desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
• Right to work in Australia
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment assessment and obtain an NDIS Worker check clearance
