Job summary

Village Roadshow Ltd is seeking a Food Runner at Topgolf Gold Coast. This casual position involves delivering your menu items to Guests, ensuring food remains hot and fresh, and supporting kitchen and bar teams to keep service smooth. You’ll be part of a vibrant, guest‑facing team in a dynamic entertainment venue.

Flexibility is key, with shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. A strong focus on safety, speed and friendly service will help you ace every guest interaction and contribute

Qualifications

• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is essential.
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach to guest service.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• High self-awareness, adaptability and integrity.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit to lift, bend and stand for long periods, including stairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Assist the team in caring for guests as needed.
• Observe responsible service of alcohol policies to ensure guest safety.
• Ensure guest safety while they play and enjoy the experience.
• Deliver food items quickly while maintaining quality.
• Maintain cleanliness by transporting bus carts to the kitchen and returning them.
• Collaborate with Kitchen staff and Senior Chefs for side-work.
• Assist the Expo line when required.
• Help the Stewards with duties after washing.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every Guest you encounter in a friendly and approachable manner - smile, make eye contact and maintain positive body language
• Show flexibility by assisting the team in caring for Guests in whatever way is needed
• Protect our Guests and community by observing the rules of responsible service of alcohol
• Ensure Guest safety while they play the game
• Take pride in ensuring food items are delivered quickly so they remain hot, fresh and appetising
• Ensure cleanliness by taking bus carts to the kitchen for clearing, then returning bus carts to the tee-line
• Work as one team with the Kitchen by completing side-work specified by the Senior Chefs
• Assist the Expo line if required
• Assist the Stewards with putting away equipment once washed

Key Qualifications
