Job summary

Bankstown Sports Club seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader for La Piazza in Bankstown. You will lead from the front during service, coach team members, and maintain high service standards to deliver memorable dining experiences.

You will work with the leadership team to foster a positive, high-performing culture and ensure seamless daily operations in a busy venue. RSA/RCG and NSW competency are required, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or senior Food & Beverage team member.
• Experience in a busy, high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge.
• Confidence leading, coaching and motivating a team.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and hands-on during peak service.
• A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Current RSA, RCG and NSW Competency Card.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude.

We are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Leader to join the La Piazza team and help us continue delivering exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

About the Role

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Food & Beverage Team Leader plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of La Piazza.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll lead from the front during busy service periods, support and coach team members, maintain high service standards and help ensure smooth daily operations.

You’ll work closely with the broader leadership team to foster a positive, high-performing culture while ensuring our guests consistently receive a memorable dining experience.
