Job summary

La Piazza, the flagship restaurant of Bankstown Sports, seeks an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations and a large front-of-house team. This fast-paced venue requires hands-on leadership and a focus on guest experiences.

You will report to the Restaurant Manager, coaching staff, driving service standards and collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless functions and dining. RSA/RCG certified candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant, hospitality or premium casual dining environment.
• Strong floor presence and leading by example.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
• Current RSA & RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, developing a large front-of-house team and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys leading from the floor.
