Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney's The Dining Room is seeking a waiter to deliver luxury service in a harbour-side setting, ensuring guest satisfaction with a personal, attentive approach.

You will explain menu content and promotions, keep tables and dining areas clean and well prepared, and participate in a rotating roster with major dinner shifts, working as a team player with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage environment of a similar standard
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Current NSW RSA Certificate
• Well-presented and professional
• Able to work a rotating roster including dinner shifts

T he Dining Room is the signature restaurant of Park Hyatt Sydney. The Dining Room is reminiscent of a luxurious harbour side residence, bathed in natural light, in the ideal location with magical views of Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay and the iconic Sydney Opera House.

We are looking for people to deliver our high level of customer service and have a kind nature.

About the Role;

Waiter is responsible for serving food and beverage services, whilst provide a friendly service in order to maximise guest satisfaction, consistent with Hyatt International Standards. This can be achieved by being experienced and knowledgeable in fine dining and engaging our guests during their visit, providing a personal, attentive service to our guests in a professional, polite and courteous manner

You will also require to understand and explain menu content, menu changes and promotional activities and keep tables and dining areas clean, tidy, and well prepared for service and set for new diners

This is on a rotating roster. Major shifts will be dinner service.

Experience within a Food & Beverage environment of a similar standard

Team players, proactive in their duties who strive for career progression

A genuine passion and a keen interest in the hospitality industry

Great communication skills with a strong work ethic

Good knowledge of wines and other beverages

Well-presented and professional

Current NSW RSA Certificate
