RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking skilled Food & Beverage Attendants to join our conference & events team. This casual role involves bar, wait staff, and coffee service across large and small events, with shifts starting early morning and running through midnight.

You will be part of a busy, guest-focused team delivering 5-star service, with RSA required and a strong emphasis on grooming, presentation, and teamwork. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 3+ shifts per week on a rotating roster.
• RSA Certificate is essential.
• Experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar customer service environment.
• Barista and coffee making skills.
• Bar beverage knowledge and experience pouring wine, beer and cocktails.
• Ability to carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks.
• Strong verbal communication and guest interaction.
• POS experience.
• Excellent grooming and presentation; eligible to work in Australia; consent to a criminal record check.
• Ability to perform inherent job tasks as outlined in Job Task Analysis.

We are seeking skilled Food & Beverage Attendants who are baristas, bar tenders and table service wait staff, to join our professional conference & events team commencing work on 7 October.

RACV Royal Pines Resort is one of Australia's leading resorts in conference and events, hosting sporting groups, themed gala events and weddings. Our team deliver a high standard of customer service to guests with a friendly, positive 'can do' attitude and a helpful approach.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to experience working large and small conferences & events. You will be flexible, showcasing your customer service skill set, working behind the bar, waiting tables, pouring drinks or making coffees. Your key responsibilities include:

• Greet & interact with guests
• Table service - take orders, plate drop/clear and beverage service - wine, beer & spirit knowledge & service
• Bar - set up, service & pack down
• Barista - coffee making & machine operation
• Set and clear tables
• Menu knowledge & explanation
• POS and cash handling

About the Candidate

• Availability & flexibility to work 3+ shifts per week on a rotating roster. Shift times range between 5am - midnight/2am (depending on the event), including weekdays, evenings, weekends & public holidays
• Previous food & beverage experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar customer service environment
• RSA Certificate, essential
• Table service - order taking, waitering skills in a la carte, alternate drop, set menu, buffet etc
• Barista - coffee making skills & experience
• Bar - beverage knowledge & experience pouring wine, beer & mixing drinks
• Ability to carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks for table service
• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with guests well and to clearly explain food & beverage menus
• POS experience
• Work well in a team environment & can follow direction
• Passion for the hospitality industry & a desire to deliver 5 star customer service
• Excellent grooming & personal presentation, Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and consent to a criminal record check.
