Job summary

Wests Cardiff is a family-friendly restaurant known for steaks and ribs. We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant ready to grow into Supervisor shifts while delivering great guest experiences.

You'll provide friendly service, take orders, serve beverages and meals, and assist guests with menu questions. This role offers opportunities for career development through paid traineeships and leadership programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food & beverage is preferred.
• Solid customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to step up into Supervisor shifts when needed.
• Availability for Friday and Saturday nights; Tue-Thu flexible.

About the role
Wests Cardiff is home to T-Bones, our family-friendly restaurant known for char-grilled steaks, famous pork ribs and generous Mexican-inspired dishes.
We're looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant who is ready to take the next step.

Alongside your regular Food & Beverage shifts, you'll have the opportunity to step up and complete Supervisor shifts, building hands-on leadership experience while continuing to work alongside the team and deliver a great guest experience.

This is more than a standard Food & Beverage role. If you have solid restaurant experience and are ready for greater responsibility, this is a great opportunity to start building your leadership capability.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly, welcoming customer service


• Taking orders and providing table service


• Preparing and serving beverages


• Delivering meals and assisting guests with menu questions


• Operating tills and handling cash


• Supporting the team with cleaning and general duties


• Stepping up into Supervisor shifts when required

About you

You'll bring:

• Strong customer service and communication skills


• A positive, reliable and team-focused approach


• Confidence and capability to step up into Supervisor shifts


• Availability Friday and Saturday nights, plus reasonable availability Tuesday to Thursday
