Job summary

The Wests Group Australia is hiring a casual bar and gaming team member at Wests New Lambton to deliver outstanding service to members and guests.

You will handle beverage service, assist with enquiries, operate TAB/Keno, and maintain a clean, welcoming bar area. Availability across Fridays, weekends, and peak periods is required, with RSA/RCG certifications and probity checks part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

• RSA and RCG certifications are mandatory.
• Probity checks including right-to-work verification, criminal history checks, and references will be completed.

About the opportunity

Our Bar and Gaming team is at the heart of the Wests experience. We’re currently looking for a casual team member to join us at Wests New Lambton, helping us deliver outstanding service to our members and guests.

You’ll be part of a team that keeps our indoor and outdoor spaces, including designated smoking zones, welcoming, safe, and enjoyable – from assisting with service and enquiries, through to ensuring our venues remain clean and inviting.

Here’swhat you will be doing:

• Providing warm and friendly customer service
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Operating Tab and Keno terminals
• Keeping your workstation and equipment clean and organised
• Handling tills and cash transactions
• Collecting glasses and returning them to the bar for cleaning

You will require reasonable availability throughout the week and need to be available across Friday nights, weekends, and busy peak times like summer and holidayperiods. These are our busiest seasons, so being part of the action is key.

Mandatory certifications:Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).

As part of our recruitment process,you’llneed to complete standard probity checks including, but not limited to, right-to-work verification, Criminal History Check, and reference checks. These will befacilitatedand funded by The Wests Group.
