Kingfisher Bay Resort is looking for a friendly Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office team on Fraser Island. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and respond to inquiries to create a seamless resort experience from arrival to departure.

This full-time, live-on-island role operates on a rotating roster, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and loves working within a supportive team on Australia’s spectacular island location.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service, front office, reception or customer-facing hospitality roles.
• Experience in hotel/resort or tourism environment is highly regarded.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and assist with check-ins/check-outs to ensure a smooth stay.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues to maintain a seamless resort experience.
• Assist in general front office duties and support a fast-paced team on a rotating roster.

About the Role

As Guest Service Agent, you will be part of the Front Office team, welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, responding to enquiries and helping create a seamless resort experience from arrival to departure.

This is a full-time, live-on-island role on a rotating roster. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

About You

• Previous experience in a guest service, front office, reception or customer-facing hospitality role
• Experience in a hotel, resort or tourism environment highly regarded
• Confidence using hotel booking/property management systems, with RMS, Opera or Sihot experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service
• Proven ability to multi-task and adapt in a busy, changing environment
• Positive, professional and solutions-focused attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Open driver’s licence desirable
• Legal right to work in Australia
