Job summary

Bayside Health, a public health service in Melbourne, seeks a Manager, Information Release Services to oversee the FOI and Information Release Teams. You will ensure lawful, timely release of information to external stakeholders, including health practitioners and regulators, while maintaining governance and continuous process improvement.

The role reports to the General Counsel and requires leadership, confidentiality, and deep knowledge of FOI principles.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a regulatory or information-release setting.
• Strong understanding of FOI Act and professional standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to liaison with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Freedom of Information Officers and Information Release Team to process information requests.
• Ensure compliance with FOI Act and statutory obligations across Bayside Health.
• Identify information-release trends and escalate issues to General Counsel for governance.
