Job description

Baker Bleu kicked off in 2016 as a tiny sourdough spot with a big mission: bake ethical, insanely good bread for Melbourne. Fast-forward 10 years and we’ve grown into five stores across two states, bringing back real bread and pastry through the craft of long-fermentation sourdough.

We now roll out everything from classic loaves to bagels, pastries, sourdough pizza and stacked sandwiches—plus a growing wholesale range loved by top restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney. We’re always evolving, collaborating and pushing the craft forward.

We’re on the hunt for an experienced FOH Supervisor to help lead the team at our Double Bay bakery. Just off the buzzing village strip, our bakery features a purpose-built pastry kitchen, dedicated coffee section and a fast-paced front-of-house operation.

As FOH Supervisor, you’ll support the management team in running smooth day-to-day service — leading the team on shift, maintaining exceptional service standards, managing workflow and ensuring every customer receives the Baker Bleu experience we’re known for.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional ready to step into a leadership position, or an established Supervisor looking for their next challenge.

What’s in it for you?
  • Join a fast-growing brand with genuine career pathways
  • No late nights — predictable hours and actual work-life balance
  • Generous staff discounts plus take-home artisan bread and pastries
  • Work alongside a passionate hospitality team and a brand known for quality and creativity
  • High-energy, fast-paced environment —
  • Confidential Employee Assistance Program for support when you need it
About You

At Baker Bleu, we’re all about people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, lead from the front and grow alongside the business. You’ll be confident leading a team on shift, passionate about great hospitality and committed to delivering consistently high standards.

  • Strong FOH experience in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Confidence leading shifts, delegating and maintaining service standards
  • Strong focus on customer experience and speed of service
  • Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to motivate, support and develop team members
  • Confidence handling customer feedback and resolving issues
  • Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Warm, energetic and customer-focused attitude
  • Genuine passion for great food, people and hospitality
