Job summary

Flooring Xtra Burleigh & Tweed is seeking a Sales Executive to be the first point of contact in our showrooms. You will work with homeowners, builders, renovators and commercial clients to select flooring solutions and deliver an exceptional customer experience from enquiry to installation.

You will provide expert advice on carpet, timber, hybrid, vinyl, laminate and other products, prepare quotes, build relationships, and coordinate with installers to ensure smooth projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably in flooring or related retail.
• Strong customer service focus and solution orientation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised with good time management and prioritisation.
• Comfortable using computer systems and POS.
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in the showrooms at Burleigh and Tweed.
• Provide expert advice on carpet, timber, hybrid, vinyl and more.
• Prepare quotes and follow up sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with homeowners, builders and trade customers.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showrooms. You will work closely with homeowners, builders, renovators, and commercial clients to help them select the perfect flooring solutions, delivering an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous sales experience, preferably in flooring, building products, interiors, retail, or a related industry.
• A passion for customer service and helping customers find the right solution.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Confidence using computers and point-of-sale systems.
• A positive attitude and results-driven mindset.
• A current driver's licence.
