Job summary

Sunneva Brewing is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the floor, bar and kitchen teams, ensuring smooth service from open to close. You will be hands-on, serve customers, support staff, and resolve issues as they arise to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality experience in supervisory roles, strong communication, and a calm, organised approach during busy periods, with an RSA for Victoria and availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience with supervisory or management duties.
• Able to lead a team and also jump behind bar or clear tables.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Current Victorian RSA certificate.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.

Job description

As our Floor Manager, you'll take the lead during service and help coordinate our bar, floor and kitchen teams. You'll be hands-on — serving customers, supporting staff, solving problems as they arise and making sure the venue is running smoothly from open through to close.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the floor and bar team during service

• Supporting and training new team members
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service
• Managing bookings, table flow and larger groups
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures
• Cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
• Monitoring stock levels and communicating ordering requirementsWorking closely with the kitchen and brewery teams

About you

• Has previous hospitality experience, ideally in a supervisory or management role
• Is confident leading a team while still being happy to jump behind the bar or clear a table
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Can stay organised and calm during busy service periods
• Takes pride in creating a great atmosphere for customers and staff
• Is reliable, approachable and proactive
• Has a current Victorian RSA
• Is available to work evenings and weekends
