LOCAL BURLEIGH HEADS is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team during busy service on the Gold Coast. You will work closely with venue management to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership in fast-paced hospitality, exceptional communication, and a valid RSA. Availability across evenings and weekends is essential, with staff meals provided and opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the FOH team during service.
• Coordinate staff across the venue during busy shifts.
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service.
• Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate sections.
• Train and motivate team members; support colleagues.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Open and close the venue when required.
• Assist with cash handling and POS operations.
• Maintain venue presentation and service standards.
• Ensure RSA, liquor licensing, WHS and procedures are followed.

About the role

As a Supervisor, you'll work closely with the venue management team to ensure each service runs smoothly. You'll be hands-on, confidently leading a team during busy services, and creating a great atmosphere for both staff and guests. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience who is ready to step up and play an important part in the day-to-day running of the venue.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Previous experience as a hospitality Supervisor, Team Leader or experienced FOH staff member
• Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and people skills
• Reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility
• Provides excellent customer service and leads by example
• Can remain calm and make good decisions during busy services
