Job summary

Redcape Hospitality is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join Keighery Hotel in Auburn. This hands‑on leadership role oversees the venue’s bar, gaming room, sports bar and TAB, working with an experienced management team to keep the operation running at its best.

You will lead from the floor, coach staff, maintain service standards, and ensure compliance with liquor, gaming and safety requirements, while managing labour, stock, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a pub, hotel, club or similar venue.
• Solid knowledge of gaming, bar and TAB operations
• Positive, energetic leader who sets clear expectations and develops people
• Confidence with venue administration, cash management and reporting
• Current NSW RSA and RCG, with ARCG completed or able to be completed before supervising gaming
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead as Manager on Duty, set clear priorities and keep the operation moving
• Coach and develop team members while recognising strong performance
• Maintain high standards across service, presentation and the guest experience
• Oversee liquor, gaming, safety and operational compliance
• Support labour management, stock control, cash handling and venue reporting
• Identify practical improvements and work with the leadership team to put them into action
