Job summary

Armidale Hotel, opening in December 2026, invites you to join the front-of-house team as a Casual Food & Beverage Attendant. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, serve beverages, and help create a welcoming atmosphere on day one.

This role requires RSA, potentially RCG for gaming, a flexible roster, and strong teamwork. Availability on weekends, nights and public holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Current RSA certificate required.
• Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) certificate required for gaming positions.
• Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) certificate may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Armidale Hotel will be the town's new social hub, bringing together great food, live entertainment, sport, family-friendly experiences, and community focused hospitality.

This is your chance to be part of one of the region’s most exciting new venues from day one.

Depending on your role, your day-to-day will include:

• Greeting and seating customers
• Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Taking orders and processing payments
• Preparing beverages and cocktails
• Washing and restocking glassware
• Monitoring RSA and supporting responsible service
• Attending to gaming machines and providing payouts (Gaming roles only)

Specialized Gaming or Bar & Cocktail roles require prior experience.

What is needed to be successful in this role?

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) - Mandatory requirement
• Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) – Gaming positions only
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously when required
• Ability to work a flexible roster
• Ability to work in a diverse team in a busy environment
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency

Please note that you must be available to work on weekends, nights, and public holidays.
